A TALE OF BLOOD & FROGS

In a world of colliding genres, three brother frogs become separated at birth and live wildly different lives. In this interactive gamebook made along with 2 other writers, I wrote the extensive section for the playable character, Volen. In writing the story, I worked on a deadline to create a vast and branching story with numerous dialogue trees, varied decisions, and expansive and unique world-building. The full version of Volen's journey ended up being 355 pages with me as its sole author, and is available in its PDF story book form at the bottom of the page. The fully blood & Frogs experience was created with two team members in charge of the Green and Spark story threads

The following playable webpage version of A Tale of Blood & Frogs is meant as a short demo of the experience and journey that comes complete with properly implemented dialogue trees, branching paths, as well a functional save and load system for experimentation with choices. I was the sole developer of this short demo using the software Twine. The original story book was created with two other team members in charge of the Spark and Green story threads.

Continue down to experience the full Volen experience as you traverse the vastly different worlds of the Wild West town of Red Oak and the buried Steam Punk city of Drehznov
