Phantom of the Battlefield
Utilizing specific items in the Imperial War Museum's collection, I led a team of 5 during a week long game jam that resulted in us winning runner up in the competition. As the rest of the team only had minimal game development experience, we focused on created a unique game concept based on facial prosthetics given to WWI veterans who suffered from facial disfigurements. As the team lead, I organized the rest of the team in the variety of roles needed for research, design, and development of the concept while also assisting in the overall narrative design, game design, and overall presentation to the panel of judges. The competition itself was sponsored by World of Tanks, partnered with the Historical Games Network, and judged by a panel of professionals from the industry and experts in academia.
