Hi, I’m Adam Weinstein! I'm an Autistic Jewish game developer and historian. Through my background in both history and game dev, I aim to help create new ways for people to engage with history at public institution as well as privately.

As a Curatorial Assistant at Fort Douglas Military Museum, I assisted the curator / director in a variety of projects and tasks that ranged from collections work to research into visitor engagement. Additionally, I also helped provide research and assistant into digital exhibits as well as other ways to elevate other museum functions into the digital age.

As a narrative designer and writer at Little Wanderers Studios, I craft complex and engaging worlds, narratives, and characters for unique game experiences. I use my historical background and research skills to create immersive fictional worlds that draw from real historical events, cultures, and themes. I also collaborate with other writers and game developers through writing rooms, remote discussions, and workshops to ensure the quality and coherence of the narrative elements.

I graduated with a Master of Arts in History from Cardiff University, where I focused on digital projects that help people engage with the local heritage, culture, and history. There I led the development of a digital FMV game that utilized the stories and heritage of the area as well as led a team that won runner up in the IWM of London's War Games jam by creating a game concept that dealt with PTSD and facial disfigurement amongst WW1 veterans. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Game and Interactive Media Design and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Utah, where, as it stands now, I still remain the only Utah student to have been named a Gold winner for the Game Developers Conference's annual narrative review competition.

While in college, I also went out of my way to become not only a member of the Jewish community but a leader in that community through my work with Hillel for Utah to keep other Jewish students from feeling like they didn't have support while on campus. I've also always been passionate about helping my community through volunteer work that I've put hundreds of hours into during both high school and college with organizations like National Honor Society and National English Honor Society, but I also continue to dedicate time and effort to helping those around me through my work as an individual volunteer at Fort Douglas Military Museum and as an officer of AFK: Game Developers doing good.
